[Archon-L] How big is big??

Is anyone using Archon with tens of thousands of item records? Anyone know the largest install?

We have a separate photograph collection database with about 30K records and it has become "legacy" (and not in the good admissions sense that gives one a boost in the process).  I'm wondering, since this is one of our archival collections if I ought to create a collection record and then dump these under it and use the digital library feature to connect the 5K digital surrogates we've scanned over the years.

Any thoughts on what I should be thinking about here?  I'd love for Archon to be my one and only, but I don't want marry too quickly......
