[Archon-L] pdfs

We recently changed the code in the default template to more
thoroughly escape characters special to html when records are
displayed in the public interface. These changes would cause your <a>
tags to appear as written in the public display of your records
instead of producing a link.
How many others would this change affect? Could the institutions that
this affects produce their own templates with less zealous escaping,
or should we change the code back to the way it is in Archon 2.10's
default template? Would people like a solution similar to bbcode where
the necessities like links and italicized font could be expressed
using a language similar to html but characters such as '<' and '>'
would still be displayed as written?
