Caroline,
It will allow you to use the same subgroup number under a
different record group. We do that numerous times in our system.
You have to be careful to nest the subgroups UNDER the record
group classificaton. In order to do this, you need to double
click the name of an existing classification in the top window of
the classification manager. then it loads up so that you can
enter children under that heading. thus you can create record
groups, subgroups, sub-sub-groups, etc.
I think what you are trying to do is shown by what I entered
here using the data you supplied.
