[Archon-L] Search results irregularities

My question involves the search results in our Holdings Database.
For example I type "English" in the Search Box and click on Go.
The initial results show 14 matches in the collection results and 3
matches in the creator results.
I click on the Collection results to see the 14 matches. Then I click on
the individual record I want to see the details.
The problem arises when I click the back arrow to see the results list
again to look at another record.  I expect to see 14 records, but that
is not the case.  Sometimes there are 7, sometimes 5, the numbers change
almost every time, very seldom are the original 14 displayed.  Why?
To get back to the original list of 14 results, I click on the Go button
again if the Search Box retained my original search criteria. Sometimes
the search criteria disappears as well.  A nice feature would be to keep
a drop down list of recent search criteria like some other databases do.
Any advice?
