Amy,
We have not tried to do this. We have loaded into our local
catalog without a problem.
I think before loading to OCLC, you may need to tweak the MARC
output. This can be done by customizing the file marc.php in the
archon folder on the webserver, but I'd back it up before using
it.
Also, you or a programmer should read both the documentation for
PHP-MARC http://www.emilda.org/index.php?q=php-marc before
trying this, since archon uses this open-source library to
produce the marc record.

Has anyone had experience loading MARC records generated by Archon into
OCLC? If so, did you use the client version or the web-based version of
OCLC's Connexion? I would also be interested in experiences loading raw text
MARC records into OCLC.
