[Archon-L] upgrading to 1.1 on Linux

Hello all,

I implemented Archon 1.0 on a Linux machine (FC5) and I would like to upgrade to 1.1 now. Of course, the installation/upgrade app does not work on Linux. I was just wondering if anyone knew exactly what the installer does when it is upgrading. I assume that it merely changes the files that need to be changed, and the web installation process adjusts the database. If so, can I just delete all of the files except my config file in my 1.0 installation, import the 1.1 files, and then run the web installer? I suppose I could just start from scratch, but I would really like the experience of upgrading. If anyone has already made this jump, I would appreciate any help.
