[Archon-L] Location only showing when logged in

If showing location is a security issue, then staying logged in would be
one answer.  

However, the system automatically logs you off after a certain period of
time and I can't stay logged into it all day.  So whenever I need it, I
must log in first-still a pain. 
To address this issue, is there a way to have the system NOT log a user
off when signed into the update screens?  That would be helpful if the
location can't be displayed.  That way, we can stay logged in all day
and have the location available.
